Eyefortransport hosts sixth annual 3PL Summit and recognizes industry's top 3PL providers

HOUSTON, US, June 25, 2008 - CEVA Logistics, one of the leading supply chain companies in the world, was voted "Best 3PL for Pharma, Chemical and HazMat" as well as "Best 3PL for Fresh Food Supply Chains" as part of Eyefortransport's 2008 Best North American 3PL Awards. Eyefortransport is a leading industry news source and research organization for the global transportation and logistics industry.

For six weeks, 3PL customers across North America were encouraged to vote for the best 3PL providers in multiple categories. Winners were announced last night during the 3PL Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. In attendance to accept the awards was CEVA's Chief Executive Officer, John Pattullo.

"We are delighted to be recognized by customers in the US for our contribution to their success," said Pattullo. "Coming shortly after equally high-profile awards we have won in the UK and Italy for solutions in the publishing and telecom sectors, these prestigious distinctions show that CEVA has industry-leading capability to meet the growing demand for impeccable operational performance both in contract logistics and freight management."

The award ceremony is part of eyefortransport's sixth annual 3PL Summit where CEOs and senior management from leading 3PLs and logistics executives from multi-national shippers meet to discuss industry trends and best practices. Both John Pattullo and Chris Monica, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for CEVA, were invited to deliver keynote presentations at the conference, addressing how an effective IT strategy can create a competitive advantage for customers and the importance of key account management in a 3PL environment.
