CEVA in UK designs, implements and operates solutions across a wide range of supply chain management requirements, where we take full advantage of technology to integrate, connect and provide visibility throughout all the processes. All our operations are tailored to the specific customer requirements and can incorporate all services offered by the company.
Our range of operations includes full design and build capability of warehouses, national and regional warehousing and distribution, provision of liveried and non-liveried vehicle fleets, trunking and home deliveries.
As part of the detailed development process, the customer's service level expectations are modelled and examined against cost to find the correct balance. Throughout the life of the contract, we constantly revisit the plan and refine the operation to ensure that it is in-line with business changes.
Multi-User Services
The multi-user division of CEVA Logistics in UK, incorporates over 2,200 staff and 800 vehicles based at 20 strategically located operating platforms.
Multi-User logistics provides shared-user warehousing and distribution, offering next-day, nationwide delivery services, despatch and traffic management, supported by a distribution network that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Within Multi-User, CEVA Newsfast provides specialist distribution services to the publishing industry. Operating from 16 strategic sites and employing over 1,000 personnel, Newsfast distributes in excess of 65 million newspapers and 25 million magazines each week. 300 vehicles and 200 trailers collect from print centres and deliver to wholesale outlets across the UK.
Container Management
CEVA Container Logistics specialises in the hiring and management of returnable containers and packaging. Any containers can be supplied, managed and tracked. The CEVA Pallecon is a patented IBC (Intermediate bulk container) designed for the movement of bulk liquids.
